As this post goes up, I will be beginning my last final of my high school career. Honestly, it is insane how fast these past four years have gone. I still remember running into my first period class-English with Psycho Yaijko (she wasn’t psycho but that’s how we learned her name which rhymes with Yaijko)- late because I couldn’t find my class. At the time, the high school seemed so vast…Ready to fill it with my own memories. I was a little fourteen year old girl starting high school. Now I am basically a young woman (who still occasionally likes her Disney princess movies and strawberry flavored milk) ready to make her mark on the world. I can’t say that I am the same person as the girl who started high school…I have learned, loved, lost, and laughed. But I am glad that I come out of the school different. It shows I have grown inside and out. Now I say goodbye to the halls of the Golden Bears, the green lockers, and people I have gotten to know during high school. But I know that there will be great memories ahead too.
Love,
Olivia
