For years now, I have longed for my own tulle skirt. There is something about them-elegant and girly- that makes me want to channel my inner ballerina. It probably started when I went through my ballerina phase as a little four year old. I still remember begging my mom to buy me a huge pink tutu when we were shopping for leotards at the ballet shop. Of course, a few months later, I quit and that tutu was never worn past my dress-up area. But still-a favorite among my dress-up clothes.
Fast forward a decade and a bit later, and that tutu-y desire still lies within me. While I’m probably not as rebellious to walk around in a so-huge-I-would-have-trouble-walking-through-doors tutu, I’m definitely down for a pretty tulle skirt like this gray one here. And I’m lucky to have scored mine at a consignment shop for a spankin’ SIX dollars! Obviously it was meant to be.
Love,
Olivia
