A brisk breeze gust through the deserted park. At this time of day for the past few months, the playground has always been bustling with little children and their families. But today was different. The sun had decided to hide behind the clouds and the day had traces of autumn in the air. A chilly wind was keeping everyone indoors and reaching for their sweaters.
I hate days like these where summer takes a step back to reintroduce the world to fall again. It makes me realize that summer is coming to an end and before long, autumn will envelop our little towns in vibrant leaves and crisp air. Of course, summer hasn’t said goodbye yet but it still makes me sad that fall is just around the corner. In the mean time, I will soak up as much sun as I can and cherish the moments of summer that is left.
Anyway, this is my last post until September 7.
I’m leaving for college on Saturday and I want to get adjusted to the new college life without trying to keep up with a blog. I can honestly say that I will miss chatting with you all for the next couple of weeks.
In the mean time, feel free to follow me on Instagram @oliviamonopoli to keep up with the latest. (Let me know if you did so I can do the same!)
Other than that, I’ll see you in September with some fun posts ahead!
Love, Olivia
